At the final InTerAct Symposium held at DTU on January31 2014, an Introduction to the InTerAct Project and the main result were presented. This included analysis of the need for education in the aquatic food value chain, an overview of the Diversity in the Nordic Seafood Industry and different views on What is the Image of the Seafood Industry in the Nordic countries? The analysis is based on interviews and surveys to capture the external and internal image of the seafood industry as viewed by stakeholders, students and the general public.
There is a need to motivate students to focus on innovation in the seafood sector. For this reason A New Story – AQFood Identity and Image Film was developed in the InTerAct project to motivate students to enroll in the AQFood MSc education and Bridging the gap between industry and academia. Royal Greenland has initiated a collaboration with AQFood and participated in the symposium to present Jobs opportunities in the Aquatic Food Sector
